Welcome to VPM!
Visual Project Management
allows everyone in the organization
to see the status of all the work
and to agree on priorities.

Sorry, but the VPM Website is UNDER RE-CONSTRUCTION. (20 Aug 2022)

We have a new Software Developer fixing some bugs.

The VPM software still has trouble with different time zones.  But, if you set-up your organization to work 24/7 (without breaks) you can create projects and play with the plotting.

I suggest you try creating a new project <In Planning> using time durations of minutes.  Create several tasks for your project.  Then Duplicate your project so you don't have to retype it over and over (think of the duplicate as a template).  You can always edit the duplicate to create new and different projects.

There is a temporary glitch with completing tasks <In Progress>.  To complete tasks, go to <Tasks> and use the <All Tasks> page.

Eventually, completed projects will be move to the <Archive> for further analysis.

If you would like to be added to the Email Notification list (so you can login and use VPM), send an email to jholt@wsu.edu.

We should have the full VPM for Organizations up and running soon.

Keep Thinking!

Brief Help:
The first person to create an organization is the Owner.  The Owner invites other people into the organization in the <Resources> Tab.

Projects are created in the <In Planning> Tab.

Active project progress is recorded in the <In Progress> Tab.  When a task is completed, the progress is posted on the Fever Charts (one for individual projects, one showing all active projects).

The <Tasks> Tab shows  the My Tasks (tasks assigned to you), My Skill (tasks that require a skill that I have) and All Tasks that are not yet completed for projects In Progress.  The tasks are listed in recommended priority order.

The <More> Tab leads to the Archive of completed projects and to change system Settings (such as changing work days and hours).
